Welcome to First Grade!!

My name is Rachel Medford, and this is my fourth year at Nebo. I graduated from Mars Hill University in May of 2016. I am so excited to be teaching first grade! I am a fourth generation teacher; my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mom all taught at North Cove Elementary. I have worked at Linville Caverns as a tour guide for the past twelve years. That is where I met my husband, Zack. We have been married eight years, and are expecting our first child in January 2020! I also teach Sunday School and play piano for my church. In my free time I love to read, spend time with my family, or enjoy the outdoors.
